Hello there!

I am Amber Smith Dash.

I have been an active photographer since 2008. I shadowed a wedding photographer in college and have workshopped with many successful photographers over the years. I established Uncommon Photography in my college years and rebranded to Uncommon Media in 2014. The rebrand was desired so that Uncommon Media would be able to cover a variety of media in the future. After getting married, I gave up Uncommon Media until the end of 2019, when I felt the Lord was pulling me back to love of photography.

My husband, Austin and I were married in 2017 and we served as worship pastors for the duration of our marriage. We moved out of that area of ministry to focus on our marriage and ministry off the platform in 2022 and while Austin toured as a full time touring musician and audio engineer for a couple of years, we moved to Savannah, Tennessee for him to serve as the Creative Arts Director at a church there and we genuinely LOVE West Tennessee. We have three fur babies, Tua, Dory and Mac!

In May 2023, we added videography to our menu of wedding specialities that we offer!
